Committee for Finance

Welcome to the Home Page of the Committee for Finance for the 2016-2017 Mandate. The Committee was established to advise and assist the Minister on matters within their responsibility. The Committee undertook a scrutiny, policy development and consultation role with respect to the Department for Finance and played a key role in the consideration and development of legislation.

The Committee held its final meeting of the Mandate on 18 January 2017. The Northern Ireland Assembly and its committees were dissolved on 26 January 2017 in preparation for the Northern Ireland Assembly elections on 2 March 2017.
