Business Committee
The Business Committee considered what business was to be scheduled when the Assembly met in plenary session and made arrangements for how that business would be conducted in the Assembly Chamber. The Committee had a maximum membership of thirteen and comprises the Speaker, as chairperson, and the whips of the parties. Meetings of the Committee are held in private.
The Northern Ireland Assembly and its committees were dissolved on 26 January 2017 in preparation for the Northern Ireland Assembly elections on 2 March 2017.
