Criminal Justice (Sentencing etc) Bill
The Criminal Justice (Sentencing etc) Bill was introduced to the Northern Ireland Assembly by the Minister for Justice on 3 March 2026.
On completion of its Second Stage it was referred to the Committee for Justice for consideration.
As part of the Committee Stage, the Committee issued a call for evidence which opened on 30 March 2026 and will now close on 22 May 2026, following the Committee agreeing a two week extension.
