Inquiry (Mother and Baby Institutions, Magdalene Laundries and Workhouses) and Redress Scheme Bill

The Inquiry (Mother and Baby Institutions, Magdalene Laundries and Workhouses) and Redress Scheme Bill was introduced to the Northern Ireland Assembly by The Executive Office on 16 June 2025.  The Bill completed its Second Stage on 24 June 2025 and was referred to the Committee for The Executive Office for consideration.

The Committee Stage for the Bill concluded on 29 January 2026 and the Committee Report on the Bill and other further information is available below.
