Review into Assembly and Executive Reform
The Assembly and Executive Review Committee is undertaking a review of institutional reform which follows on from the initial work by the previous AERC in the last Assembly mandate.
The review will build on this and on other evidence which has arisen from subsequent academic research and parliamentary inquiries.
We have now launched a survey and would like to hear your views!
The survey is open until Monday 30 June 2025.

Review of Assembly Committee engagement on cross-cutting Executive strategies
The Assembly and Executive Review Committee is seeking views from stakeholders of Assembly Committee engagement on cross-cutting Executive strategies as well as your views and experience of scrutiny of cross-cutting legislation.
We have now launched a survey and would like to hear your views!
The survey is open until Tuesday 30 September 2025.

Review into the development of a formal process and guidance on the handling of Westminster Statutory Instruments that include a role for the NIA
The Assembly and Executive Review Committee is seeking views from stakeholders on their experience of the existing arrangements for the handling of these particular Westminster SIs and welcomes any suggestions for possible improvements to those arrangements.
