The Committee will hold its winter Committee Clinic on 08 January 2026, then following that the next formal meeting of the Committee for Health is scheduled for Thursday 15 January 2026.

Adult Protection Bill

The Adult Protection Bill was formally introduced by the Minister of Health on Tuesday 17 June 2025. The Bill completed its Second Stage on Monday 30 June 2025 and is now referred to the Committee for Health for the Committee Stage of the Bill.

As part of the Committee Stage, the Committee will now receive oral evidence on the objectives, proposals and potential consequences of the Bill.
