When you provide your email address, you’re signing up to receive regular and relevant updates from the Executive Office Committee on the Inquiry (Mother and Baby Institutions, Magdalene Laundries and Workhouses) and Redress Scheme Bill.

Our lawful bases for collecting or using personal information for research or archiving purposes are:

- We are collecting the information so that we can contact people who have expressed an interest in providing feedback on the Assembly\'s websites and assisting with the redevelopment of the website. This will benefit all site visitors as it will help create an informed, user friendly, informative and engaging website.

How long we keep information
We will keep your information only for as long as we need to in relation to your interest in the Assembly's website redevelopment. Aside from the initial feedback phase we will keep your information in the event that you would like to take part in further phases of the website redevelopment. Subscribers can unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the 'unsubscribe' link at the bottom of every email or by letting us know at info@niassembly.gov.uk.
Who we share information with
Data processors
MailJet (Email and subscriber management tool)
This data processor does the following activities for us: MailJet is a cloud-based email delivery service that provides tools for businesses to send, track, and manage email campaigns. MailJet is used by the Assembly Commission to send updates and newsletters to subscribers who sign up or consent to receiving that information. Subscribers can easily unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the 'unsubscribe' link at the bottom of every email or by emailing info@niassembly.gov.uk.
Sharing information outside the UK
Where necessary, we will transfer personal information outside of the UK. When doing so, we comply with the UK GDPR, making sure appropriate safeguards are in place.
