I am writing to confirm that the Northern Ireland Assembly Commission (Assembly Commission) has processed your request dated 2 October 2025 in line with the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA). Your request was as follows—

 

‘A breakdown of the monthly expenditure on fresh flowers for the Stormont Estate between February 2022 and September 2025 (inclusive).’

 

Our response

Parliament Buildings

The Assembly Commission does not hold information in relation to expenditure on fresh flowers. However, fresh flowers have been provided by a third-party supplier to the Assembly Commission for specific events within Parliament Buildings in the period covered by your request. The third-party supplier estimates a total spend of £3,929.20 for this period.

 

Stormont Estate

The Assembly Commission does not hold information in relation to expenditure for the Stormont Estate. The Estate is managed by the Department of Finance, which may be contacted at the following email address:
