I am writing to confirm that the Northern Ireland Assembly Commission (Assembly Commission) has processed your request dated 26 September 2024 in line with the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA). In your request, you asked:

"Under the freedom of information act I would like a copy of the minutes or other relevant records around the education ministers meeting (within his role as education minister) with the LCC which took place on the 24th September 2024. As this was conducted within his role, Paul Givan should have supplied the official paper work and records."

The Assembly Commission considers that this information is exempt from disclosure under section 21 of the FOIA, since it is already reasonably accessible to you otherwise than under section 1 of the FOIA.
