I am writing to confirm that the Northern Ireland Assembly Commission (Assembly Commission) has processed your request dated 24 July 2023 in line with the Freedom of Information Act 2000. In your request, you asked:
“On 31st January 2022 Fiona Ryan, Commissioner for Survivors of Institutional Childhood Abuse, submitted a paper/report/document to the Committee for the Executive Office setting out her views on the role and context of a memorial for historical institutional abuse survivors.
I would be grateful if you could forward a copy of the above document.”
The Assembly Commission holds the information that you have requested. Please find the information in Appendix A.
