Charities (Amendment) Bill
The Charities (Amendment) Bill was introduced to the Northern Ireland Assembly by the Minister for Communities on 15 June 2026.
The Bill completed Second Stage on 23 June 2026 and was referred to the Committee for Communities for consideration.
The Committee recently sought views on the Bill from stakeholders and will consider the responses as part of its work on the Bill.

The Sign Language Bill was introduced to the Northern Ireland Assembly by the Minister for Communities on 10 February 2025. The Bill completed Second Stage on 18 February 2025 and was referred to the Committee for Communities for consideration.
