Committee welcomes major investment in pipeline

The Northern Ireland Assembly Committee for Regional Development has welcomed the announcement of £14million investment in the Castor Bay to Belfast Water Trunk Main.

Following the announcement of the works, the Chairperson of the Committee, Mr Jimmy Spratt MLA stated: "We welcome this mayor investment in our water infrastructure, which will undoubtedly bring about significant benefits to customers in Lisburn and Belfast. I would echo the Minister's comments about bringing important and substantial work into our construction industry."
