Committee for Employment and Learning to Visit Queen’s University

The Northern Ireland’s Assembly Committee for Employment and Learning will be holding its next weekly meeting on Wednesday 13 th June 2007 in Queen’s University Belfast. The Committee will meet with officials from the University led by Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Professor Gerry McCormac. The Committee will be briefed by the University on key issues pertaining to the University’s role in the local economy.
The meeting will be in public session from 10:00 am to 10:50 am.
The Committee will then undertake a private tour as guests of the University to a number of key Research and Development facilities.
Press and members of the public should note that the public meeting will be held in the Council Chamber within the Lanyon Building in the University. Please note that attendees must make their own arrangements for transport and parking in the local area, as this cannot be provided.
