Assembly Speaker to lead ‘End of Mandate’ Reflections

At the beginning of tomorrow’s Assembly Plenary sitting, the Speaker Alex Maskey MLA, will provide all political parties and Members with an opportunity to reflect on the current Assembly Mandate as it draws to a close.

After the Speaker makes his opening remarks, parties will each be given a few minutes to speak and the floor will then be open to all Members.

Contributions will be taken for up to one hour and are likely to include reflections on some of the challenges and achievements of this Mandate, as well as farewell speeches from those Members who will not be running for re-election.  

• Venue:           Assembly Chamber.
• Time:             10.30 -11.30am.
