Committee to Launch Report on the Barriers Faced by Women in Agriculture on International Women’s Day

The Assembly’s Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs Committee will hold an event at 1.15pm on Tuesday 08 March 2022 (International Women’s Day) to launch its ‘Breaking the Grass Ceiling’ report which highlights the barriers faced by local women working in agriculture.
The report also makes a number of recommendations on practical and policy measures which could be introduced to promote, encourage and support women in the sector.
