Committee Stage - Charities Bill

The Charities Bill will amend the public benefit provision of the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008 to provide clarity on the requirement to be met in determining whether an institution is, or is not, a charity within the meaning of that Act.

The Committee for Social Development is responsible for the Committee Stage of the Bill. The Committee issued a Call for Evidence which expired on 28 September 2012.
