APN 88 - 17/22: All Party Group on Learning Disability

A meeting of the All Party Group on Learning Disability (APGLD) has been arranged to take place on:

9^th May 2018 from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm,

in Room 30, Parliament Buildings.

The APGLD will meet to discuss the Education Authority (EA) consultation on the Framework of future provision for children in early yeas with SEN.

The APGLD will host a ‘committee-style’ evidence gathering session with a range of stakeholders including:

National Children’s Bureau (NCB); Education Authority, Parents Group: Parents Equal Education Coalition (PEEC), Academics and Principles; Irish National Teachers Organisation (INTO); Children with a Disability Strategic Alliance (CDSA) Save the Children and Children and Young Peoples Commissioner (NICCY).

The APGLD will consider all evidence and write a formal response to the consultation.

All members and MLA’s are welcome to attend and refreshments will be provided.
