APN 296 - 17/22: AGM of the APG on Visual Impairment / APG on Visual Impairment
AGM OF ALL PARTY GROUP ON VISUAL IMPAIRMENT (APGVI)
A remote/virtual meeting for the AGM of the All-Party Group (APG) on Visual Impairment has been arranged to take place on Monday 5th October 2020 12.00pm using the Microsoft Teams platform.
The AGM will be followed by a general APGVI meeting which will include an update on the issues facing blind and partially sighted people and support organisations from Covid-19, and next steps, NI/UK Vision strategy implementation, implications of Brexit for blind and partially sighted people and a presentation from Angel Eyes on their recent report on the issues relating to the impact of Covid-19 on education for children and young people living with visual impairment.
All Members are welcome to attend.
An invite will be emailed separately to each APG member (and, on request, to any other MLAs who wish to attend) providing instruction on how to join the remote/virtual meeting.
