Christmas tabling arrangements
Members should note the arrangements for the tabling of items in the Business Office during December.
In light of both the closure of the building for the period from 25 December 2019 to 1 January 2020 (inclusive), and the impact of the redeployment of Assembly staff, the Speaker has agreed that the deadline for submitting questions before Christmas will be 3pm on Friday 13th December 2019. Members may resume submitting questions from 9am on Monday 6 January 2020.
Other than those days when Parliament Buildings is closed, the Business Office shall remain open daily during this period from 10.00am to 4.00pm. Queries can be made via email to Business.Office@niassembly.gov.uk or by telephone to ext. 21447.
Library opening hours
During the Christmas period, the Assembly Library will operate reduced opening hours. Beginning on Monday 16 December 2019, it will be open from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. Monday to Thursday, and will remain closed on Friday. Normal opening hours will resume on Monday 6 January 2020.
