Review of Workplace Dispute Resolution
At its meeting on 12 November 2008, the Committee for Employment and Learning agreed to undertake a review of Workplace Dispute Resolution. The review resulted from the Committee being briefed at the meeting by officials from the Department for Employment and Learning on the findings of the Department’s pre-consultation exercise into the need to review current procedures aimed at resolving workplace disputes.
The objective of the review was:
To collate and consider the opinions and views of relevant stakeholder organisations on a way forward for workplace dispute resolution in Northern Ireland.
In meeting this objective, the Committee received briefings from Departmental officials and a range of key stakeholder organisations and reported its findings on 24 June 2009.
