New Assembly Register of Members' Interest Published

The Committee on Standards and Privileges today published the new Register of Members’ Interests on the Assembly website.

In welcoming its publication, Alastair Ross MLA, the Chairperson of the Committee on Standards and Privileges, said: “The Committee on Standards and Privileges is committed to building public confidence through openness. I therefore welcome the publication of the new Register of Members’ Interests which is a keystone of transparency at the Assembly.

“The new Register ensures that everyone can see details of Members’ outside interests. The fact that Members have been required to register all sources of outside remuneration, hours worked in relation to such remuneration, and family members who benefit in any way from Assembly Members’ expenditure demonstrates the Assembly’s commitment to openness and transparency.”
