Committee for Health
Shared visit with Permanent Secretary to GPs in London
On 3 June, the Chair and Deputy Chair of the Committee for Health, accompanied by Permanent Secretary Mike Farrar, visited London to learn about innovative approaches to primary care.
During the visit, they met with representatives from the GP Pathfinders Group and Eclipse to explore digitally enabled healthcare, and visited Waterloo Health Centre and Hurley Clinic to see how community-based services are delivered in practice.
The visit provided valuable insight into approaches to improving access to care, supporting prevention and integrating services to better meet the needs of patients.
