Committee for the Office of the First Minister and deputy First Minister Meeting - 04 February 2015
The Committee for the Office of the First Minister and deputy First Minister met on Wednesday 4 February 2015 at 2.00pm in Room 30, Parliament Buildings in closed session to consider proposals relating to the draft Northern Ireland Public Service Ombudsperson Bill.
The Committee then moved to open session to hear evidence from the Northern Ireland Local Government Association (NILGA) on the District Councils Good Relations Programme and on Community Planning, as part of its ongoing Inquiry into Building a United Community.
Finally Members were briefed by departmental officials on the implementation of the recommendations arising from the Committee’s Report into the Barroso Taskforce, and an update on the NI Executive’s EU Priorities for 2014/15.
