Committee for Health, Social Services and Public Safety Meeting - 26 March 2014
The Committee for Health, Social Services and Public Safety met on Wednesday 26 March at 2.00pm in the Senate Chamber, Parliament Buildings.
The Committee focused on the issue of Emergency Departments (EDs), following its visit to the ED at the Royal Victoria Hospital on Monday 24 March 2014. The Committee took evidence from the Royal College of Nursing and the Belfast Health & Social Care Trust. It also heard from the Department on the new GP out of hours framework, in terms of how it can reduce ED admissions.
