Committee for Finance and Personnel Meeting - 08 October 2014
The Committee for Finance and Personnel met on Wednesday, 8th October 2014 at 10:00 am in Room 30 Parliament Buildings. Members undertook final consideration, in closed session, of the Committee Report on Flexible Working in the Public Sector in Northern Ireland. The Committee then moved into open session to receive a briefing from DFP officials and representatives of the Northern Ireland Centre for Economic Policy on the Policy Evaluation of the Small Business Rate Relief Scheme.
Members also received two separate briefings from Departmental officials: firstly on Cross-Departmental performance against Savings Delivery Plans; and secondly on Corporate Services Division's performance against business plan targets.
Initial consideration was then given to the draft Terms of Reference for the Committee Review of the operation of the Barnett formula.
