Committee for Finance and Personnel Meeting - 07 May 2014
The Committee for Finance and Personnel met at 10.00 am on Wednesday 7 May in Room 30, Parliament Buildings.
The Committee heard evidence from Mr Daithí McKay MLA on his proposed Private Members' Bill – A Bill to Make Amateur Sports Clubs Exempt from Rates, which was followed by a briefing from officials from the Department of Finance and Personnel on the Impact on Northern Ireland of the UK Budget 2014.
The Committee were then briefed by the NI Assembly Research and Information Service (RaISe) on Preventative Spending and the European Investment Bank. The Committee then gave further consideration to proposals for the Rates Rebate Replacement Scheme.
