1. Why are you processing my personal information?
Your involvement in this consultation will be completely anonymous. All data will be processed in line with GDPR requirements. Data collected from all respondents will be consolidated, summarised, and the results of the questionnaire will be presented to senior management and the Northern Ireland Assembly Commission. Summarised information generated will be published on the Assembly intranet and the Assembly website.
Summaries of consultation findings generated from this research may be used in future publications, including research reports.
Should you indicate that you would be happy to be contacted, as part of the current consultation process to further discuss your views on the proposed content of the equality plans, your contact information will be held by Northern Ireland Assembly Commission staff until the consultation is complete.
2. What is the lawful basis for processing my personal information?
Data will be processed using your explicit consent.
3. Where do you get my personal data from?
Should you indicate that you would be happy to be contacted, as part of the current consultation process, your contact details will be collected from your completed consultation submission form to enable Northern Ireland Assembly Commission staff to contact you. Your contact details will be held by Northern Ireland Assembly Commission staff until the consultation is complete. Therefore, the original data is coming from you (the data subject).
4. What categories of personal data are you processing?
Email address.
5. Do you share my personal data with anyone else?
Personal data will be held securely in a secure network environment by Northern Ireland Assembly Commission staff solely for the purpose of the consultation.
6. Do you transfer my personal data to other countries?
This data will not be transferred to other countries.
7. How long do you keep my personal data?
We will retain your data in line with our retention and disposal schedule and your information will be securely deleted thereafter.
8. What rights do I have?
- You have the right to obtain confirmation that your data is being processed, and access to your personal data.
- You are entitled to have personal data rectified if it is inaccurate or incomplete.
- You have a right to have personal data erased and to prevent processing, in specific circumstances.
- You have the right to ‘block’ or suppress processing of personal data, in specific circumstances.
- You have the right to data portability, in specific circumstances.
- You have the right to object to the processing, in specific circumstances.
- You have rights in relation to automated decision making and profiling.
