The Autism (Amendment) Bill - Committee Stage

The Autism (Amendment) Bill was introduced into the Assembly by the Bill Sponsor, Pam Cameron MLA, on 5 July 2021. The purpose of the Bill is to strengthen and enhance the Autism Strategy through amendments to the Autism (Northern Ireland) Act 2011.

The Committee for Health has issued a 'Call for Evidence' to get people's views on the Bill. The deadline for submissions is Friday 24 September 2021.

The Bill passed its second stage on 21 September 2021 and has been referred to the Committee for Health for Committee Stage
