The meeting commenced at 12.46 pm in public session.

1.    Apologies

None.

2.    Winter Pressures – Briefing from the Royal College of General Practitioners NI and British Medical Association NI GP Committee

Dr Laurence Dorman, Chairperson, Royal College of General Practitioners NI and   Dr Alan Stout, Chairperson, British Medical Association NI GP Committee, joined the meeting by video-conference at 12.46 pm.

Dr Dorman and Dr Stout briefed the Committee on the impact of winter pressures on the provision of primary care.

A question and answer session followed.

The Chairperson thanked Dr Dorman and Dr Stout for their attendance.

The next meeting of the Committee for Health was scheduled to take place at       9.30 am on Thursday, 25 November 2021.

The meeting was adjourned at 1.55 pm.
