I refer to your correspondence to NIPEC’s Chief Executive, Angela McLernon, on 24^th June 2021 (below) and can confirm that I am responding on Angela’s behalf.

Thank you and the Committee for Finance for giving NIPEC the opportunity to provide a written response in respect of the Financial Reporting (Department and Public Bodies) Bill. We have sought the advice of our Finance Colleagues in the HSC Business Services Organisation (they support our organisation in the provision of accounts and financial reporting via service level agreement) and they have advised that the key changes will actually impact the Department of Health more than Arms’ Length Bodies therefore I would be grateful if you could please note a Nil Response from NIPEC.
