Thank you for contacting us with regard to Bill.

In relation to the consultation, at this stage our main questions associated with the Bill are (i) whether the bill has broader implications for the North South Bodies given their unique legislative position, and whether consultation with colleagues in the south is advised, and (ii) whether the Bill has implications for the existing or proposed new revised financial memorandum for the Languages Body, and by extension for the FMs for the other bodies.

On both points, the view of the North South Secretariat would be informative. I hope this is helpful.
