APN 368 - 17/22: British Irish Council Misuse of Substances Ministerial Meeting

The Speaker has received notification from the First Minister and deputy First Minister, in accordance with section 52A (1) of the Northern Ireland Act 1998 (as amended), that a British-Irish Council Misuse of Substances Ministerial meeting will be held virtually on 11 March 2021.

The following Ministers will be attending the meeting;

Minister of Health, Robin Swann MLA.

Minister for Communities, Deirdre Hargey MLA.

2. 2. 'Measuring the effectiveness of addiction services and harm reduction interventions'

2.3. Future Work Plan for the work sector for the period 2021-2023 (Including change of title of the work sector)

Minister Frank Feighan will introduce all 3 papers, followed by Ministerial Interventions by all Member Administrations (5 Minutes per Member Administration)

3. 1. Minutes of the 10th BIC Misuse of Substances Ministerial meeting hosted by the Welsh Government, 21 September 2017

3. 2. Minutes of the Ministerial Meeting on Health and Social Initiatives to Combat Substance Misuse held prior to the 33rd BIC Heads of Administration Summit, hosted by the Irish Government, 15 November 2019

Minister Frank Feighan, will introduce both papers, proposing their approval, followed by Ministerial interventions if required.
