Joint Meeting

A remote/virtual joint meeting of the All-Party Group (APG) on Ageing and Older People and the All-Party Group on Carers has been arranged to take place on Wednesday 23 February 2022 from 2.30 - 4.00pm using the Zoom platform.

This is expected to be the last meeting during this mandate for both of these APGs.

The agenda will focus on the Department of Health’s current public consultation on Reform of Adult Social Care, launched by Minister Swann on 26 January 2022. There will be a presentation from the Department’s Adult Social Care Reform Team on the 48 proposals contained within the consultation document.  The Commissioner for Older People has confirmed his attendance.  Members will also have an opportunity for questions and discussion.

All Members are welcome to attend.

An invite will be emailed separately to each APG member (and, on request, to any other MLAs who wish to attend) providing instruction on how to join the remote/virtual meeting.
