The joint meeting of the All-Party Group (APG) on Ageing and Older People and All-Party Group on Carers scheduled for Wednesday 23rd February 22 at 2.30pm has been cancelled.

The meeting is re-scheduled to take place on Wednesday 16th March 22 at 1.00pm

ALL PARTY GROUP ON AGEING AND OLDER PEOPLE AND ALL PARTY GROUP ON CARERSJOINT MEETING

A remote/virtual joint meeting of the All-Party Group (APG) on Ageing and Older People and the All-Party Group on Carers has been arranged to take place on Wednesday 16 March 2022 from 1.00-2.30pm  using the Zoom platform.

This is expected to be the past meeting during this mandate for both of these APGs.

The agenda will focus on the Department of Health’s current public consultation on Reform of Adult Social Care, launched by Minister Swann on 26 January 2022. There will be a presentation from the Department’s Adult Social Care Reform Team on the 48 proposals contained within the consultation document.  The Commissioner for Older People has confirmed his attendance.  Members will also have an opportunity for questions and discussion.
