A meeting of the All-Party Group (APG) on Loneliness has been arranged to take place on Wednesday 9th March at 10.00 - 11.00am in Room 115 of the Assembly and virtually using Zoom.

Tea and coffee will be available from 9.30am.

This important meeting will include a presentation from Robin Hewings, Campaign to End Loneliness’ Programme Director, who will speak on the UK Government’s loneliness strategy in England including how it was developed and how it is helping to address loneliness on a national level.

This will be followed by a presentation from Craig Harrison, Marie Curie’s Policy & Public Affairs Manager for Northern Ireland, on their recent report which presents valuable research and insights on the experiences of loneliness among people at the end of life and their careers.

All Members are welcome to attend.

An invite will be emailed separately to the APG Members (and, on request, to any other MLAs who wish to attend) providing instructions for attending the meeting in person or remotely.
