British-Irish Council Joint Housing And Collaborative Spatial Planning Ministerial Meeting

The Speaker has received notification from the First Minister and deputy First Minister, in accordance with section 52A (1) of the Northern Ireland Act 1998 (as amended), that a British-Irish Council Environment Ministerial meeting will be held virtually on 25 February 2021.

The following Ministers will be attending the meeting;

Minister for Communities, Deirdre Hargey MLA.

Minister for Infrastructure, Nichola Mallon MLA.

Junior Minister Gary Middleton MLA.

All Party Group On Learning Disability

A remote/virtual meeting of the All Party Group (APG) on Learning Disability has been arranged to take place on Friday 26th February at 14:00 – 15:30 using Zoom.  

This meeting will include a learning disability awareness session provided by Janet Schofield, CEO of Compass Advocacy Network.

The meeting will also focus on learning disability and mental health, and will include a presentation from Mark Lee, Department of Health Director of Mental Health, Disability and Older People’s Policy speaking on the draft DoH Mental Health Strategy 2021-2031. 

We are also grateful to be joined by Louise Clarke, Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency, who will present on the upcoming Census and encouraging the participation of people with a learning disability.

All Members are welcome to attend.
