Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs Committee to hold weekly meeting at Balmoral Show

As part of the Assembly’s presence at this year’s Balmoral Show, the Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs Committee will hold its next meeting on Thursday, 15 May in the Assembly Marquee at the Eikon Exhibition Centre. Members will receive briefings from the Ulster Farmers' Union and the Young Farmers’ Clubs of Ulster.

Following the meeting, the Committee will be joined by colleagues from the Assembly’s Economy Committee for a Q & A event with the Young Farmers’ Clubs of Ulster.

Date:        Thursday, 15 May

Time:       10am -12:00pm (Q and A will begin at approximately 12:15pm)

Venue:     Assembly Marquee, B44-45, Balmoral Show, Eikon Exhibition Centre (map attached).  

The media are welcome to attend the meeting and filming, photography and interviews with the Committee Chairperson and participants will be available upon request.
