Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs Committee to Receive Departmental Update on Construction and Staffing at Ports

At its next meeting on Thursday, 4 March 2021, the Assembly Committee for Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs will receive a briefing from the Department’s Permanent Secretary, Dr Denis McMahon, the Chief Veterinary Officer for NI, Dr Robert Huey and Mr Mark Livingstone, Director of Operational Readiness, on construction and staffing at border control posts/points of entry.   

Members will also receive a briefing from the UK Climate Change Committee, whichwill includea consideration of responses to the Climate Change Committee’s advice to Northern Ireland on emissions targets
