Committee to Hear from Supermarkets on Fairer Deal for Farmers

The Assembly Committee for Agriculture and Rural Development will receive briefings from supermarket chains ASDA and Tesco at its next meeting on Tuesday 20 October 2015.
Members will question representatives from both supermarkets on a range of issues to include payment policies and credit terms, the role and remit of the Grocery Code Adjudicator, labelling issues and the purchasing of local produce.
