Minister to Seek Committee Views on Additional Funding Scheme for Farmers and Horticulture Industry

At its next meeting on Friday, 22 May 2020, the Assembly Committee for Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs will receive a briefing from Minister Poots on a new scheme to provide support for farmers and the horticulture industry.

The additional £25 million scheme was announced by the Minister for Finance on Wednesday 19 May 2020, and Minister Poots will now seek the views of the Committee on how the funding should be targeted and allocated.
