Communities Committee to Receive Briefing on Proposals for the Reform of Liquor Licensing Law

At its next meeting on Thursday, 25 June 2020, the Assembly Committee for Communities will receive a briefing from departmental officials on the Minister’s proposals for the reform of liquor licensing law.

Members will be updated on the outcome of the Minister’s 2019 public consultation which received more than 1,500 responses from a wide variety of stakeholders, including the licensed trade, the health lobby, faith groups, other key stakeholders and the general public.

The Committee will also take evidence from the Arts Collaboration Network on the impact of COVID-19and what will be required torestore and sustain the Arts sector in the future.
