This funding includes baseline allocations and Barnett consequentials as well as earmarked funding for specific initiatives such as Transformation, Security, the Tackling Paramilitarism Programme, VAT compensation for private schools, the Windsor Framework, debt advice services, City and Growth Deals, and NDNA funding for An Ciste and the Magee Medical School.

Also included is £283.8 million (£94.6 million per annum) remaining from the financial package associated with the restoration of the Executive. As the allocation of this funding is at the discretion of the Executive, it has not been classified as earmarked funding.

As required by legislation, I will demonstrate that the amount of British Government funding required by any draft Budget does not exceed the amount notified by the Secretary of State as set out in this statement.
