Department of Finance - Public Expenditure: Technical Adjustments Following the 2024-25 October Monitoring Round

Dr Archibald (The Minister of Finance): The purpose of this Statement is to inform the Assembly of some technical adjustments that have been made to departmental budgets subsequent to the agreement of the 2024-25 October Monitoring round.
Due to the speed of delivering the October Monitoring round following the Chancellor’s Statement, a number of technical adjustments were not finalised in time to be included in the October Monitoring statement on 11 November 2024.
These transactions, which do not require Executive approval, include inter-departmental transfers, Financial Transactions Capital loan repayments and funding confirmed by the Treasury for Windsor Framework, New Deal and Fresh Start Shared Education and Housing.
In the interests of providing certainty to departments, rather than delay these transactions to the January Monitoring round, the following tables provide an updated October Monitoring outcome for each department.
