The meeting commenced at 9.32am in closed session.

1.    Apologies

There were no apologies.

2.    Closed Session- Committee Amendments on the Adult Protection Bill.

The Committee undertook its informal deliberations of the Adult Protection Bill.

Nuala McAllister MLA joined the meeting at 9.56am.         

Órlaithí Flynn MLA joined the meeting at 9.58am.

Linda Dillon MLA joined the meeting at 9.59am.

Alan Chambers MLA left the meeting at 10.55am.

The Committee discussed the amendments to the Bill that were proposed at last week’s meeting. The Committee then continued its informal deliberations on the remaining clauses.

3.    Date, Time and Place of the next meeting

The next meeting of the Committee was scheduled to take place on Tuesday, 24 March 2026 in the Senate Chamber at 9.30 am.

The meeting was adjourned at 11.24am.
