Committee stage - RHI (Closure of Non-Domestic Scheme) Bill
The RHI (Closure of Non-Domestic Scheme) Bill was formally introduced by the Minister for the Economy on 6 October 2025. The Bill completed its Second Stage on 20 October 2025.
As part of the Assembly’s legislative processes, the RHI (Closure of Non-Domestic Scheme) Bill was referred to the Assembly’s Committee for the Economy so that the Committee could consider and take evidence on the Bill and report its opinion to the Assembly.
As part of the Committee Stage, the Committee sought views from stakeholders on the objectives, proposals and potential consequences of the Bill.
The Committee for the Economy has now published its Report on the Committee Stage of the RHI (Closure of Non-Domestic Scheme) Bill.
