The NI Assembly Committee for Health would like to hear your views on the Adoption and Children Bill.
The closing date for written submissionsis Friday, 8 October 2021.
Overview
In a statement to the Assembly on 7 July, the Minister of Health announced his intention to introduce the Adoption and Children Bill into the Assembly in September 2021. The purpose of the Bill is to update and enhance the legal framework for adoption in Northern Ireland.

How to submit your views
It is important that your submission is structured to address the specific clauses and schedules of the Bill. If appropriate, it should include any amendments you wish to propose to the text of the Bill.
Written submissions should be sent electronically in Word format (not PDF) to:
