2. Evidence session on Final RQIA Report on the Pseudomonas Outbreak

The Committee took evidence from:

Professor Pat Troop - Chair of the RQIA Independent Review Team

Dr Michael Kelsey - eview team member - Consultant Microbiologist

Dr Ian Laing - Review team member - Consultant Neonatologist

Dr David Stewart - Review team member - RQIA Director of Reviews and Medical Director

A question and answer session ensued.

2.17 p.m. Mr John McCallister joined the meeting.

3.05 p.m. Mr John McCallister left the meeting.

3.10 p.m. Ms Paula Bradley left the meeting.

3.16 p.m. Ms Paula Bradley rejoined the meeting.

The Chairperson thanked the witnesses for attending.

The Chairperson informed members that she would be absent for part of the next evidence session. The Committee agreed that Mr Micky Brady would act as Chair during the Chairperson’s absence.
