Committee for Finance and personnel Meeting - 10 December 2014
The Committee for Finance and Personnel met on Wednesday, 10 December 2014 at 10:00 am in Room 30, Parliament Buildings. The Committee, in closed session, considered its draft report on the Draft Budget 2015-16.
Moving into open session, DFP officials briefed members on the Devolution of Corporation Tax and the Devolution of further fiscal powers. The Committee then received a briefing from DFP officials and representatives of the Ulster University Economic Policy Centre on the Policy Evaluation of Small Business Rate Relief Scheme. A further briefing was given by DFP officials on the rating of empty homes.
Finally members were briefed on the outcome of the January 2015 Monitoring Round – Departmental position.
