2. Holywell Trust briefing on the City Walls Heritage Project

Representatives from the Holywell Trust briefed the Committee and answered members’ questions on the City Walls Heritage Project

The main areas of discussion were the background to Holywell Trust’s work, the need for appropriate management of the City Walls and the upcoming ‘Walls 400’ project.

3. Date, time and place of next meeting

The next meeting will be held on Thursday 29 November 2012 at 10:00am in the Senate Chamber, Parliament Buildings.

As the Committee did not have quorum, all other items of business were deferred until the next Committee meeting on 29 November 2012.

The Chairperson adjourned the meeting at 11:54am.

The Committee participated in a pre-arranged tour of Derry City Walls, accompanied by a representative from Holywell Trust.
