Committee for Employment and Learning Meeting - 22 April 2015
The Committee for Employment and Learning met on Wednesday 22 April, 2015 at 10:00am in Room 29, Parliament Buildings when the Minister, Dr Stephen Farry MLA and Departmental officials updated the Committee on European Policy Developments and the European Social Fund.
The Committee was then briefed by Departmental officials on the draft strategy for Economic Inactivity. Finally, the Committee was briefed by Assembly Research and Information Service on the Special Educational Needs Bill.
The Committee considered proposals for subordinate legislation regarding Student Fees Amounts and the Working time Regulations.
The Committee also considered secondary legislation relating to the Work and Families Act (Northern Ireland) 2015.
